The Mass State Convention (MSC) was launched ~1963 with a decision by Area 30 (eastern MA) and Area 31 (western MA) to host an annual state-wide convention.
The two areas developed a convention program jointly, with Al-Anon participation.
Today, the MSC is hosted roughly the same way. This year, the 60th convention is being held November 8-10 at the Best Western Royal Plaza Hotel in Marlboro. Please join us!
Convention Planning Committee
When Areas 30 and 31 decided to host a convention, a joint committee was formed. Members of the planning committee:
Do outreach at AA & Al-Anon meetings.
Publish information about the convention.
Engage other AA groups and committees.
Collaborate on issues, ideas and plans.
